Prioritising accurate assessment.

Services

Assessments cover a variety of areas, including cognitive abilities, specific learning disorders such as "dyslexia", "dysgraphia", and "dyscalculia", as well as attentional difficulties and intellectual developmental disorder. During an initial phone or email consultation, we'll discuss your concerns and determine if an assessment is the appropriate next step for you or your child.

I understand that each individual is unique, which is why I take the time to determine the most appropriate assessment tools based on your specific areas of concern. It's important to note that while the assessment process may not always result in a diagnosis, it can provide valuable insights into strengths and challenges, guiding us towards effective support strategies. In some cases, external referrals to speech pathologists or other specialists may be recommended for further testing.

Following the assessment, results are shared with parents through a comprehensive written report. Additionally, you are welcome to book a phone call, video call, or face-to-face meeting to ensure clarity and address any questions or concerns you may have.

At Pioneer Psychology, we are committed to safeguarding your personal information in accordance with the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs) outlined in the Privacy Act 1988.
